Quick walking distance to the charming town of Chatham.
The stairs were steep and dangerous, especially at night. The air conditioning unit was inadequate, leaving the room uncomfortably warm. I was disappointed by the limited options at breakfast, with nothing fresh or warm.

Absolutely not worth the hype. The room was dusty and the AC was as useful as a paperweight. I was expecting a complimentary upgrade after my uncomfortable stay but got nothing. Plus, lugging my bags up those dark, creaky stairs? Not a great way to treat someone who deserves special treatment. Just couldn't give a good review here.

The accommodations werevery comfy and tidy. I appreciated the easy access to Lighthouse Beach, only a two-minute walk away, and the availability of beach wagons, chairs, and towels. The wine and cheese hour from 5-6 PM was a good touch, and there was ample outdoor seating to relax and unwind.
The room was quite small.

Couple's quiet getaway
The wine and cheese hour at five was a nice surprise, we sat outside with other guests enjoying the sunset over the quiet beach while sipping good wine and having some really nice cheeses. I also appreciated the beach chairs and towels provided it made the whole beach thing so much easier.
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable for what you get.

The location of Surfside Inn is unbeatable. Just a two-minute walk to Lighthouse Beach made morning walks a joy. The beach chairs and towels available were super convenient. The continental breakfast area was charming, and the wine and cheese happy hour from 5-6 PM was a lovely surprise. It made for a great way to unwind while enjoying the sunset. The room itself was quite small, especially the bathroom. We could have used more storage options for our belongings. The AC unit also struggled a bit to keep things comfortable at times, especially during warmer evenings.

We loved the beautiful location! It was just a quick walk to the beach, and having wagons available for our things made it easy with two young kids. The porches were perfect.
For dads, it would be great if there were more storage options in the rooms.
